GHVS In Home Pet Euthanasia & Pet Hospice was founded by Dr. Renee Green Solomon DVM MBA in 2010. It developed as a formal entity as Dr Solomon's client requests and referrals grew. She is reminded daily how important this service is to the clients and patients she serves.
While practicing in the South Atlanta Metro Area, her trusting clients would request that she come to their homes when all medical options had been exhausted. Her services grew from special requests from her day practice clients to new clients contacting her through referrals from previous clients and colleagues alike. They knew that that she would perform this heart-wrenching service with compassion and love as they had experienced or as they were unable to provide.
Dr Solomon is a licensed Georgia veterinarian. She is from Trinidad and enjoys practicing Spanish and French whenever she can. After serving the South Atlanta Metro area for 12 years, she now lives in Duluth with her husband and daughter.
She attended Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine receiving her doctorate in 2001 and has practiced small animal and exotic medicine and surgery in the Greater Atlanta Metro area since that time. In her spare time she enjoys singing, traveling and volunteering for local and caribbean non-profit organizations. Dr Solomon is the Chief of Staff Veterinarian at a local veterinary practice. She also completed her MBA at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Our doctor has completed hundreds of hours of advanced professional education courses and regularly attends accredited veterinary seminars to offer her patients the latest technology in veterinary medicine, veterinary hospice and palliative care. She is a member of the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care and the American Association of Human Animal Bond Veterinarians.

Her professional activities are numerous but she still works in the field providing medical and surgical care to her young and aging patients in the traditional practice setting, until that final act of love. Please be sure to ask her for more details.
