The service rendered was exactly as desired and expected. Dr. Solomon was gentle, patient, and considerate of the emotional condition of both my wife and myself. We were completely satisfied with the visit, and would recommend Gifted Hands to any of our friends or neighbors. 11/7/2013 5:18 PM
I am SO thankful to of found Dr. Solomon. She made what was the most painful day easier. I have told so many about her and her services already. I always describe her as someone who truly found her calling - It takes a special person to be able to do what she does with the respect and care that she does it with. I'll be forever thankful to her.

Work With Your Veterinarian to Make Your Senior Pet's Golden Years Healthy
By Dr. Marty Becker | July 20, 2012
When you have an older pet, the most important thing to remember is this: Dying isn’t optional, but suffering often can be.
In other words, don’t assume that a sick or elderly pet can’t enjoy many weeks, months or even years of pain-free, comfortable and joyful living. And your veterinarian can help make that possible, because we understand why that’s important, and we know how to make it happen. Working with your veterinarian to help a pet in the twilight of life will add a glow that will make the time precious for you and your pet both.

Hospice: Providing End-of-Life Pet Care
By Gina Spadafori | August 24, 2011
One weekend, Nancy Hurley found herself staring at X-rays at an emergency clinic, where she'd taken her elderly Sheltie after the dog fell. Like many pet lovers before her, Hurley heard the advice that no one wants to hear.
“The veterinarian told me that it was time for euthanasia,” says Hurley, who lives in Charleston, W.V. “I thank God I didn’t do that. I dropped the X-rays at my own vet’s the next day, and we started talking options.”
The option she chose was hospice, an approach to end-of-life care in which a terminally ill pet lives at home and receives care from what can be a range of experts, such as traditonal and alternative-care veterinarians, physical therapists and mental-health professionals.
